While I enjoyed the experiences of selling on Etsy and Ebay, I felt the pull to have my own neck of the web where I could regularly make all of the gorgeous items that I have available readily accessible to my customers.
Etsy requires that any items that are sold on its pages be certifiably vintage. Vintage clothes are clothes that are at least twenty years old. As an avid thrift store and estate sale shopper, I often find lovely pieces that simply are not old enough to suit Etsy’s requirement.
While I have had great success with my Ebay auctions, I’ve felt limited by the auction process and how it requires the price of a piece to steadily rise beyond the amount that an enamoured buyer can afford to pay for it. I would rather allow my customers the option to make me an offer on any piece they see on this site.
